Chief/Senior Accountant

Job description / Role

Guildhall, the leading recruitment agency in Dubai, are looking to find an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our client's finance team. If you're skilled in advanced Excel and Xero, and have a knack for maintaining precise financial records, this role is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records using Xero.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements: income, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Reconcile bank and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support tax preparation and regulatory filings.
- Offer financial analysis and reports to guide business decisions.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure accurate accounting of transactions.
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets for financial analyses.
- Help in budget preparation and monitoring.
Ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
- Handle additional accounting tasks as required.

Salary:
AED 25,000 to 30,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification is a plus.
- Proven accounting experience, focusing on financial analysis and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization.
- Strong experience with Xero.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Efficient multitasking and deadline management.
