IT Security & Systems Officer

Job description / Role

Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for cybersecurity and systems management? We're seeking an experienced IT Security & Systems Officer. This role is pivotal in establishing and maintaining effective IT governance practices while driving digitalization initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

- IT Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks. Develop risk management strategies and integrate them into IT processes.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure IT governance effectiveness. Provide regular updates on performance and compliance.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement to manage vendor contracts and service-level agreements.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs on IT security policies and best practices.
- Business Impact Analysis: Manage BIA-IT process to assess IT disruptions and develop continuity strategies.
- IT Audits: Plan and execute IT audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Group Security Program: Oversee implementation of security policies and incident response procedures.
- Application Management: Manage lifecycle of applications to align with business needs and governance requirements.
- Digitalization: Drive initiatives to enhance business processes and leverage technology for innovation.
- Project Management: Provide oversight for IT project management activities to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Extensive experience in information security and systems management.
- Strong knowledge of IT frameworks, cybersecurity protocols, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in managing various IT systems and applications, including ERP and CRM solutions.
- Certifications such as ITIL, CISA, CISM, CISSP, or PMP are desirable.
