Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Coordinate with EPCM/EPC and operations counterparts to ensure technical optimization.
- In collaboration with the Engineering/ Area Manager, manages the day to day engineering activities within a project area through to handover of all system/facilities.
- Reviews and approves technical documents, ensuring technical optimization and the scope of work in correctly detailed to avoid any variations and delays.
- Participates in technical evaluation/clarification of packages and highlights any technical issues, improvements, or cost saving Opportunities founded within package to the Engineering/Area manager.
- Supports constructions and POV teams in their walk downs and provides technical observations as required.
- Participates in facility design reviews, hazards and hazops workshop and quality Assurance/ Quality control activities as required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering ( Civil /Mechanical/ Electrical ) from a recognized institution/University.
- 8 years experience in similar projects.

Skills:
- Sound Technical Knowledge.
- Experience in management of projects preferable.
- Effective communication , coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Strong supervisory, reporting and analytical skills.
- Strong planning, organizational and problem solving skills.
- UAE Nationals only.
