Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

PURPOSE: Provide industry best practice quality assurance, quality control, internal audit and management of change services across the Company, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant operations and maintenance

KEY COMPETENCIES:
- A broad technical knowledge of the QA/QC activities related to operation, maintenance, outages/shutdowns/turnarounds and modification for a large industrial plant.
- Experience in the development and review of workscope specific QA/QC documents such as QCP’s and ITP’s, QA/QC related technical procedures, and ensuring the qualifications of personnel are suitable for the specific tasks.
- Excellent Communication skills to liaise with managers, engineers, supervision and LTSA contractors in all aspects of best practice QA/QC, to carry out and ensure site activities are undertaken in the correct manner e.g. HSE, technical, planned, engineered, procured and interface awareness.
- Experience in the development of a ‘Quality Culture’ across a small organisation with many different nationalities.
- Experience in managing the QA/QC aspect in LTSA Contract management process
- Experience in developing and managing the company ‘Management of Change’ process
- Experience in the management of company compliance with the latest ISO management systems.
- Experience in managing the company Internal Audit process
- Ability to recognise potential problems and manage issues before they have any impact to the business.
- Ability to plan organises, monitor and if necessary take corrective action to fulfil task requirements & achieve company goals i.e. safely, timely, commercially and productively.
- Ability to challenge individuals in the best interest for the company no matter of what position

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement best practice QA/QC across all departments, and integrate the Quality Management System (QMS) with the plant CMMS (Maximo)
- Inform and Train other members of the team about international best practice Quality Management System (QMS)
- As part of the QMS, develop a best practice Document Management System (DMS) for Technical reports and records, using MS SharePoint and Maximo , and be the Champion of the DMS across the company
- Support LTSA Contract Managers with QA/QC reporting and contract KPI development
- Manage external audits from the various project stakeholders
- Manage the ‘Management of Change’ process
- Manage the Internal Audit process• Manage the Plants' Engineering data room, including as-built engineering drawings, O&M manuals etc.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and manage the annual 3rd party audits
- Support the Emiratisation plan
- Partake in the business risk management system
- Develop and control a budget for the QMS

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience a technical leader in plant operations and maintenance
- Experience in maintaining company compliance with ISO standards
- Familiar with industry specific codes and standards
- PC literate in standard and diverse computer programs relating to action planning (MS SharePoint), document management system, (MS SharePoint) and CMMS (Maximo preferable).
- MS SharePoint expertise
- Strong leadership skills

- The ability to work in a culturally diverse work place
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English
