The Boeing Shared Services Group (SSG) in Abu Dhabi has an opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the International Business Support team as a Business Support Specialist to support operations and business partner management and compliance. The International Business Support work statement is a broad and complex with unique country specific requirements as well as a broad statement of work delegated by the enterprise SSG functions such as supplier management, finance, security and fire protection and site services. Operations management includes the procurement of commodities and services associated with the local office, local hires and expatriates using an oracle system. The successful candidate will have strong skills in building and maturing business relationships as part of working across many entities, sites, business partners, customers and suppliers.

The candidate will report to the SSG Business Support Manager and will be part of a high performing team of about 3 employees in Abu Dhabi who provide International Business Support to Boeing’s programs within Abu Dhabi and N. Africa employing over 50 employees and growing significantly in the next few years.

The candidate will have opportunity to develop skills with International Business Support and the Shared Service Group with possibility of growth across region or globally.

Your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and integrate solutions for complex problems in support of the Boeing operations
- Boeing uses the ORACLE system for non-production procurement and invoice imaging, the successful candidate should be familiar with using this or a comparable system such as SAP.
- Receives Supplier management delegation to procure non-production purchases under a limit.
- Ability to implement lean processes.
- Support business partner and local entities requirements such as immigration, entity registration, wage protection, employee benefits.
- Ensures operations and documents are in compliance with government laws and regulations, company policies, and professional standards.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree and typically 3 or more years' experience related to Procurement, Business Operations Support and working experience with Oracle system.

Competencies:
- Oracle or SAP procurement or payables working experience.
- Develops a strong working relationships and partnership with business partners.
- Proficient in English: reading, writing, speaking; Arabic language preferred.
- Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to retain composure and flexibility under pressure, to facilitate effective working relationships and workflow.
- Demonstrated professional qualities of integrity, reliability, confidentiality, initiative and the ability to work proactively with minimal.
- Experienced MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Methodical and thorough with a focus on detail and completion of tasks. Positive and proactive working attitude and high ethical standards.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively as a team member. Willingness to learn and apply new skills.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable UAE law. Employment is subject to the candidate's ability to satisfy all UAE labor and immigration formalities. This job may be level 1 or level 2 and will determined by the level of experience and qualifications of he selected candidate, in relation to the scope and responsibility of the position.
