Job description / Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance & leading a team of around 20, the General Manager, Finance is responsible for supervising and handling financial reports, accounting and all kinds of financial analysis. Manage the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the company under IFRS.
Supervise financial and accounting system controls and standards. Oversee cash management and financial regulations governed by Compass Group. Manage cash-flow by supervising the balance sheets and daily bank balance statements.
Effectively manage working capital through follow up on collections and specifically managing the vendor payments. Effectively manage the internal & external audit teams (including IT audits, RACM, KFC etc.,) and the day to day running of the department in this leading hospitality operator.
Requirements
10 years post Chartered Accountant qualification experience in the Accounting/ Finance Department with a minimum of 2 years as Head of the Finance Department.
Fluency in Arabic is required for this role.
