Job description / Role
Our client a leading food production and manufacturing company are looking to recruit a HSE Manager with experience in food production and ideally bakery to join there team in Abu Dhabi reporting to the Divisional Quality Head.
Role and Responsibilities
* To identify deficiencies in the design, construction and operation of production facilities that may cause injury or to adversely affect the health of company personnel or visitors or cause any impact to the surrounding environment.
* To identify and deficiencies and initiate, follow up and corrective actions.
* To assist in the design of new projects and procedures with respect to safety of personnel and compliance with established safety standards and recommends changes as required.
* Carry out site safety risks assessment analysis and environmental impact assessment and update them regularly.
* Ensure the company complies with legislation by creating a legal register.
* Carry out and deliver a full audit process.
* Prepare and deliver an annual safety training plan based on site specifics.
* Conduct internal training sessions for new employees.
* Maintain records of company HSE performance to track progress
Salary/Benefits
- 25-28K AED per month
- Family status
- 10K per annum per child (schooling)
Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidate must have a number of years experience working in a HSE capacity within food production.
* Degree qualified
* 8 years experience (3 years managerial)
* NEBOSH qualification (desirable)
Our client is looking for a candidate who is a strategic thinker and will plan and implement programs to ensure the compliance of the HSE strategy.
