Job description / Role
With reference to Senior Project Manager the candidate will be responsible for design, installation and operation of irrigation application system in our construction and maintenance projects.
The major responsibilities will be:
- Prepares and / or reviews of irrigation design.
- Ensures all assistance is given to the tendering department with regard to all aspects of the irrigation system both prior and during the contract.
- Prepares all necessary shop drawings, submittals etc. and liaises confidentially with the client / consultant to ensure approvals are obtained within the specified period.
- Controls all irrigation works with regards to installation methods, scheduling, material storage and procurement, plumber tools and training in accordance with the contract specifications.
- Assumes complete responsibility to officially commission of the system including the pumps, and produce O&M manuals and conduct any required training to the client’s representatives.
- In coordination with Project Managers frequently visit on all maintenance sites for preventive actions & training of site staff.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor in Agriculture, Horticulture or similar.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with various kinds of irrigation application systems.
- Complete understanding of irrigation methodologies and materials.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in UAE.
- Valid UAE-driving license and good English skills - speaking and writing.
- Good level of computer literacy with MS-Office, Auto-CAD etc.
