Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The OCTG Sales Manager will be responsible for developing business opportunities within the Abu Dhabi region. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to negotiate and formalize the sale of products and services under the area of responsibility according to annual sales target. The Sales Manager must also maintain regular relationships, process orders and follow up on orders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximizes sales opportunities by meeting sales volume objectives, identifying and solving the problems affecting sales of the product and identifying the proper commercial channels and conditions associated with orders
- Establishes tactical moves and operating plans for future development; follows up on new leads and referrals
- Defines the offer presented to the customer and performs the price definition
- Supervises the Customers RFQ and sources information from Knowledge Centers (Product, Delivery, Logistics, Pricing, Costs, Legal, Credit)
- Gives support to the Demand Planners analysis and decision by sharing customers information and market & product trends
- Coordinates with other areas such as Marketing and Supply Chain, for the execution of defined marketing strategies and regional segment plans providing inputs to market intelligence activities
- In charge of sales order initialization and purchase order acknowledgement
- Provides information on final quotation based on management requirements
- Responsible for acceptance of business (LTAs signing and contract review)

Requirements

- 10 years on the Oil and Gas Industry
- GCC knowledge of OCTG, line pipe and Oil and Gas NOC and operators.

- Characteristics: Drive for results, communication skills, problem solving, works within company policies and procedures
- Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, SAP, Product / Manufacturing knowledge
