Piling - Contracts Manager

Job description / Role

oUR client is currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join their Abu Dhabi office. They are a reputable contractor in the UAE and have worked on some of the largest projects in the UAE. They specialise in carrying out piling, enabling works, soil improvement and geotechnical studies, as well as working on Marine and Pipeline projects. They are a valued contractor to many of the leading developers in the UAE.

The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for the complete management of contract and procurement functions of a project specific contract/procurement team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and compile tender, procure and contract documentation
- Review all contacts, and provide contractual recommendations on wording and amendments to propose to clients
- Prepare supplier/sub-contractor bid evaluations and recommendations
- Procurement Order Negotiations
- Client facing and leading procurement meetings
- Insurance, guarantees and bond management
- Monthly reporting and presentations to the Divisional Manager

Requirements

- Qualified with a Bachelor degree in Civil and/or Law
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor or similar with a recognised international body (RICS or equivalent)
- 10 15 years experience in the Middle East.
- Excellent Contracts/Procurement Management skills
- Excellent knowledge of FIDIC
- Excellent communication skills
