Employment: Full Time

A leading semi-governmental organization based in Abu Dhabi is looking to an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to join their dynamic team of professionals. The desired candidates must have experience with manufacturing or printing industry. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. This role is open for UAE Nationals only.

The Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the full life-cycle of recruiting (i.e. the sourcing, screening, selecting and on-boarding of personnel by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external).

The responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Acts and behaves in a way that is compliant with company guidelines and policies, especially those relating to Environment, Health and Safety, ethics and codes of conduct.
- Collects staffing needs from functions through forms or face-to-face meetings in order to understand requirements.
- Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone and in person), checks references/background, makes recommendations for hire (or not to hire) and delivers employment offers.
- Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates.
- Follows up with requesting departments to provide up-to-date information on the hiring process status.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
- Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements, etc.)
- Ensures compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Manages current candidate activity and record keeping.
- Ensures necessary security checks are conducted.
- Completes paperwork for new hires and enters information into HR system.
- Conducts orientation sessions to acquaint new employees with policies, practices and system usage.

Requirements

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or any relevant area; certification in HR such as PHR is preferable
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in HR recruitment operations
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Excellent written/oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
- Knowledgeable of current local labor law related to employment
- Computer proficiency with MS Office
