Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As a team member of the Risk Management department, the Risk Analyst will contribute to the following areas:
- Appraise credit application and prospects in line with relevant policies, procedures and guidelines of shareholder;
- Discuss appraised credit cases with Local Credit Committee, Credit Committees of the shareholders
- Provide support staff in addressing issues related to credit approvals;
- Assist risk team in preparing for Quarterly Risk Meeting presentations for management and shareholders etc.

Requirements

- Should be self confident professional fully dedicated in accessing, managing, reporting and controlling several risk's, thereby combining a strong results driven mentality with well developed risk awareness.
- An academic (bachelor or masters) degree in finance or economics. Degree in risk management is an advantage;
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in credit risk management. Experience in other areas of risk management is an advantage;
- Excellent planning and process, risk awareness and analytical skills;
- Drive and ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of staff, management and external parties to achieve results;
- Advanced Excel and presentation skills;
- Experience and ability to independently successfully manage several risk aspects;
- Completely literate in English. Arabic or other foreign language skills are an advantage;
