Job description / Role
With the growth in the Middle East, the opportunities in the transportation industry is growing immensely too. We are looking to add to our team of passionate, knowledgeable and innovative professionals, a Transportation/Urban Planner who will play a highly strategic role within the Transportation Planning Division.
The successful candidate must be a well-rounded Transportation Planner with additional expertise in Transportation Demand Management (TDM) who can recommend TDM strategies and initiatives that will enhance the full breadth of transportation services we provide including parking standards for new development and the operation of our transportation networks.
Requirements
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer relationship management skills to be able to engage with many stakeholders, including developers, consultants, internal staff, external organizations and agencies and the public.
• Exceptional organizational skills to be able to handle multiple transportation projects with ambitious timelines.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and switching gears to constantly changing priorities.
• Ability to embrace new opportunities for growth and thrive working within a specialized team environment.
Considerable experience in a range of Transportation Planning including, but not limited to TDM. As a leader, supervisory experience is required. Candidate should possess at least 10 years of experience in transportation management, with strong background in the middle east.
