Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The final beverage meets prescribed standards outlined in KORE Manual and leaves a favorable impression with the consumers. The scope of the jobs starts from water treatment, syrup preparation, Sanitation and preparation of the beverage for filling.

This is done through correct proportioning of the finished syrup, treated water and CO2 in the mix processors.

The blended final beverage is then transferred to the filler bowl for filling where in-line testing and control is done. The company guidelines of KORE, Food safety and local government regulations including GMP and HK should be followed during the operations.

Responsibilities:
- Monitoring water quality including incoming raw water, treated water and domestic water
- Operation of Reverse osmosis and trouble shooting
- Supervising simple and ready syrup preparation including checking of all quality parameters related to simple, final syrup and concentrate attributes
- Ensure to operate beverage mixer through standard set procedures.
- Performs quality check at specific time intervals for the following parameters:
- Product Attributes: Brix, Carbonation (CO2), Sensory, Titratable Acidity, Inversion brix, Air content (Can), CO2 taste and odor, confirm absence of sugar for Diet products
- Package Attributes: Fill Volume, Fill Height, Crown Crimping, Seam test (Can), incremental and removal torque, Full Package Integrity (Fill height and Date Coding), Secure seal test and all blow molding tests as per company frequencies
- Rinser and warmer tests as per company guidelines
- Record all the data in Coke One Lite and maintain manual records as required
- Sensory evaluation and release of final products to the warehouse
- Ensure to perform CIP on mixer and filler at end of operation and during flavor change.
- Ensure all GHK and GMP norms are followed during plant operation
- Conducts Carbonation retention tests as and when required
- Conduct calibration of lab equipment and other operational equipment
- Collect, labelling and storage of retention samples
- Records the data in the line control log sheets
- Maintain the cleanliness of all mixers and Co-brix monitors
- Conduct water quality analysis of fountain water samples
- Inspection and release of raw and packaging materials
- Additional Quality responsibility for process and microbiology
- Conduct fountain survey audits as and when required
- Conduct internal audit on Quality, Safety and Environment as per the internal audit schedule
- Monitor lab consumables and raise PR accordingly. Ensure to get the material on time
- Monitor an analysis of BIB production and conduct relevant tests as per KORE

Requirements

- Graduate or post graduate, diploma/degree in Science /chemical engineering/ technology, Food science and technology/ Bio technology/ Microbiology
- 1 - 3 years industrial experience in the beverages, dairy, fruit juice or pharmaceutical sector and experience with production processes.
- A fresh graduate Chemistry, Food technology or Microbiology without any experience

Technical Knowledge
- Beverage technology and Food safety norms
- ISO systems and standards knowledge for 9001, 14001, 22001 and OHSAS 18001
- Knowledge and awareness in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
- Computer literate with high proficiency in MS office and SAP

Experience
- Experience in the bottling, beverage and/or FMCG products of food & beverages
- Solid Lab & QC Supervision practice
