Marketing Executive - Marcom MSD (Wunderman, Dubai)

The Marketing Executive is required to work in a cross Middle-East and Africa central marketing team to manage campaign workflow and production across multiple countries. The role requires a high level of detail orientation plus working with tools to input marketing campaign briefs. An interest and experience in marketing and campaign operations is required.

Role reports to CMO Lead/GTM Managers in area as part of the CMO field organization as well as into GMO MSC area service lead. The main function for this role is to manage campaign workflow (set up and analytics enablement) through the Marketing Service Center and for area teams. Ensure smooth execution and landing of area campaigns leveraging the MSC and tactical briefs. The Service Desk Lead is responsible for day-to-day alignment of campaign set up, coding and nomenclature alignment with segment and Business Groups.

The role ensures campaign briefs will be accurately entered into our primary Campaign Execution Tool. The role will be primarily responsible for the data quality within these tools to accurately reflect the marketing activities subsidiaries execute. This position plays a central role in partnering with the MSC to support subs in leveraging digital marketing vehicles, drives on-going improvements in efficiency of campaign execution/set up and tracking through global tools.

Additionally, this role will be responsible for helping drive Privacy Governance within MEA. This role will assist the MEA Privacy Lead with privacy awareness, escalation, governance & education with the field.

Overall responsibilities to include:
- Consultancy and quality assurance on reviewing the brief and assuring objectives, goals, KPIs are well defined and at the right level of the expectation for the activity being briefed, coded and tagged by MSC
- Drive economies of scale – finding similar briefs and similar solutions within our Microsoft network avoiding duplication
- Drive efficiency to marketers and quality of input on our tools by inputting all info in our tools – EP, MBP, …
- Follow leads to be sure no pipe clogged, or dead leads and help determine marketing ROI
- Be the contact point and brief requests into MSC Service Account Manager/Agency Project-Management roles
- Facilitate Approval Process for Central as well as local tactical execution activities
- Responsible for building and fostering relationships with local area Marketers and corresponding marketing execution teams
- Responsible for all incoming campaign requests from marketers, handling tactical execution directly end to end or handover to GTMs where net new campaign development is required
- Manage SLA’s and prioritization of incoming requests
- Manage all escalations and/or service delivery issues through to resolution
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling
- Meet tight deadlines and SLAs
- Provide marketing and tools insights, consultation and analysis of various projects as needed
- Solid understanding of Marketing and Operational services; ability to articulate and evangelize within the local marketing organization(s)
- Strong working relationship with Service Account Manager or Marketing Operations Manager(s) for planning, forecasting, and escalation of high risk issues.

Responsibility/Activity
- Marketing Communications project management
- Creating marketing briefs submitted by area/subs in Execution Planning tool
- Reviewing MSC service request briefs, coordinating request through MSC to ensure SLA’s are met and requests are complete
- Managing tactical marketing service requests through MSC/agency
- Driving Privacy awareness, escalation resolution & governance across marketing activities

Requirements

- BS/BA required
- Marketing Communications experience (agency or client)
- Exceptional project management skills; proven cross-group collaboration
- Analytical and detail oriented
