Guildhall has been commissioned to search for a Plant Manager to fill a position on one of the worlds largest plants.
This organisation is currently one of the only operating in their fields with projects throughout MENA and Asia-Pacific. This is a long term opportunity to be based in Algeria. This $500musd project is in O&M phase now so offers long term job security with a global firm for a significant amount of time.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Improving overall plant performance.
- Following up the action plan to achieve the best optimum benefits.
- Looking for new developments and upgrading the plant for continuity improvements.
- Water treatment systems designing, Supervision and processing: RO units, Softening, Chlorination & dechlorination, U.V, Cooling Towers, Sand & carbon fiters, Oxidation, Sedimentation, Coagulation, Flocculation
- Controlling, monitoring, adjusting and testing of water treatment plants parameters: Flow, Pressure, Temperature, EC, SDI, Fouling.
- Controlling, monitoring, adjusting and testing of water quality: physical, chemical and microbiological parameters.
Requirements
- Previous plant management experience on a process plant
- Chemical Engineering degree
- 10+ years experience
- Must have a track record of working in challenging environments
- Ideally previous working experience in Asia-Pacific region or Algeria/North Africa
