Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Consolidate financial statements and quarterly submissions to the Board.
- Review and finalization of account for certain subsidiaries and ensure compliance with regulatory and other requirements
- Review various regulatory reports prepared for submission to the Central Bank and respond to queries

Requirements

- Bachelor's of Commerce/ Bachelors of Science in Accounting
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (or equivalent thereof) e.g. ACA/CPA/ACCA.
- 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in banking industry.

Skills:
- Complete understanding of AAOIFI accounting standards.
- Complete understanding of IFRS.
- Experience of Islamic banking industry (financial controls)
- Experience of preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Good understanding of Compliance requirements i.e. CBB Rulebooks.
- Experience of regulatory reporting relating to CBB
- Experience of group reporting required
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Experience of preparing reports & presentations for management and Board
