Bilingual Paralegal (Arabic & English)

Job description / Role

A Bahrain based experienced Paralegal is required for an international communications consultancy, headquartered in the UK. This role is permanently based in the Bahrain and will act as the local legal expert, relied upon to deliver sound and accurate legal advice to the management team.

We expect that candidates will hold a legal degree and have a minimum of 3 years PQE in a legal firm or industry, excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review, evaluate and negotiate contracts, implement changes to policy in accordance with legal and regulatory developments and build trusted relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.

Assisting with all legal administration and client onboarding such as KYC due diligence, corporate governance and maintaining an IP portfolio, the Paralegal will be the safekeeper of all the afore mentioned documents and maintain trackers and internal contract database updates. Assessing legal risk, you will advise the senior teams with regards to disputes and coordinate with the external counsel when necessary to mitigate risk and maintain legal and commercial awareness to ensure the organisation always remains fully compliant.

Requirements

This new position requires a confident and Bilingual (Arabic & English) Bachelor or Masters law graduate with relevant work experience. This can be in any sector, but it is expected that you will already be in a Paralegal position and ready for a move into an in-house function within the fast-paced professional services industry.
