Our client is a very well established company in Bahrain, operating since 1954. It has evolved into one of the Bahrain's premier business groups active in several business activities such real estate and trading.

They are currently looking for a Brand Manager for one of their Sports brands in Bahrain.

The Brand Manager has full accountability for the Brand in Bahrain reporting to the Divisional Manager. The role requires strong sales and marketing skills in order to deliver the annual business plan and a good understanding of the Bahrain market and the sports equipment business in order to drive net profit. The role also requires a good technical understanding of the product in order to manage and grow the servicing and support side of the business.

The role is requires excellent communication skills, customer service and selling skills in order to ensure that the brand is presented as a premium brand in Bahrain.

- Manages the Sales team to seek new business opportunities and holds regular sales meetings.
- Meet with key customer accounts to build strong relationships to ensure that all projects and AMC are maintained to the highest possible standards and that the customer has confidence in our services.
- Manages the Technical team to ensure the effective scheduling of resources to meet the customer demands and deliver outstanding customer service for both service contracts and implementation of new projects. Also makes regular visits with the technical team to ensure quality of service.
- Builds a full technical understanding of the full catalogue of equipment to fully understand how the equipment functions to ensure quality control and standards of servicing.
- Develops a clear marketing strategy for the Brand ensuring its positioning as the world’s most premium brand within the Bahrain market. This includes exhibitions, advertising as well as other events to promote the brand within the market.
- Agree and approve all quotations for new projects ensuring that the margin is protected and the brand image is also protected at all times and also approve all orders placed for new projects and spare parts.
- Assist in the preparations of sales budgets and set KPI s and targets for both the sales and technical teams to ensure performance and also provide sales revenue forecasts on a monthly basis to the Divisional Manager.
- Ensures that the operations of the showroom are maintained to the highest possible standard and that there is a customer service focused team at all times.
- Ensures effective internal communication through daily team briefings, regular sales meetings and also full team meetings on a monthly basis. Also regular communication and updates with senior management.
- Communicates effectively and in a timely manner with the host brand to build a strong working relationship built on mutual understanding whilst maintaining a degree of confidentiality about the company business.
- Minimize losses through control of inventory records and loss prevention controls in the warehouse.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and security policies of the Company, including the physical security of the store, warehouse.
- Ensures that all stores and warehouse properties are maintained to a high level and that preventative maintenance is happening in line with the planned schedule. Also ensures that all legal requirements in terms of fire-fighting and fire safety and also health and safety are adhered to at all times.
- Ensures full compliance with all administrative and legal procedures and reports in line with company policy and liaises with PRO for all Ministry licenses and activity to ensure everything is legal and up to date.
- Keeps abreast of developments in the fitness equipment business both locally and internationally to ensure we stay one step ahead of our competitors and actively seek new business opportunities.

Requirements

- You Should have a background in selling fitness equipment (Technical sales)
- You should have Some level of management responsibility
- You Should be either based in Bahrain or willing to move to Bahrain
