Employment: Full Time

CAD Draftsman - Bahrain

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy and they are looking to hire CAD draftsman to be based in Bahrain for 3 weeks. Candidate should have some experience with bridge and infrastructure projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares engineering drawings comprised of basic arrangements, layouts, flowsheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc. from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information.
- Develops a practical knowledge of equipment, facilities, and systems, and their interrelationships.
- Develops layouts, plans, sections, elevations and details as necessary.
- Performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings.
- Performs basic drawing layout and plan drawings from sketches prepared by designers using standard CADD procedures. Draws somewhat complex details on drawings.
- Checks layout and drawings for accuracy, relationship of one part to another, and relation of various parts to the whole drawing.
- Uses CADD, draws and letter charts and diagrams for the presentation of various statistical data; ensure standard presentation.
- Makes adjustments or changes to drawings as directed during advanced planning stages and actual construction.
- Files and maintains drawings and diskettes as directed by the design supervisor; ensure proper backup and archiving.
- Consolidates routine details from various sources and adjusts or transposes to scale as necessary.
- Liaises with Engineers.
- Keeps up-to-date with CADD development & software.
- Prepares and administers as-built drawings.
- Completes additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Can do a 3 weeks contract.
- Relevant Diploma or Technical Design Education.
- Proficient in CAD and all functions.
- At least 5 years experience
- Any Nationality
- Experience in bridge and infrastructure projects.
