Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Develop an HR strategy for the firm which promotes the interests of the workforce while protecting the interests of the company.
- Coordinate the development of the organizational structure and manpower planning for the company.
- Manage the HR team within the budget and Business Plan requirements.
- Ensure that the appropriate personnel are in place to deliver the short and long terms goals set for the HR team and provide coaching and motivation to these staff.
- Liaise with all senior managers on HR issues.
- Oversee the production and maintenance of individual files for all employees to include position, contact details, remuneration levels, holidays, sickness, bonuses, performance reviews, promotions, etc.
- Oversee the preparation of the input to the monthly salary run for all employees.
- In conjunction with the other department heads, prepare a comprehensive training plan for all employees and organize the various training courses required.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Employee Handbook, HR Policies and Procedures Manuals, Job Descriptions and Remuneration Packages and recruitment procedures.
- Ensure that all the firm HR related functions and operations are in full compliance with local Labor Law in the applicable jurisdictions.
- Oversee the company?s health and safety policies and practices.
- Review the day to day operation of the HR team and address any arising issues.
- Set up and oversee the administration of the performance evaluation scheme.
- Assist the other managers with employee counseling, disciplinary meetings and other staff related meetings.

Requirements

- 15 - 20 years experience
- Able to operate in start up
- Experience of two or more countries in the GCC
- Excellent recruitment skills
- Investment firm and /or Sales organization background essential
- HR qualification / related Master’s degree
- Must be able to operate at Senior Management level and present at Board meetings
