Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Planning, initiating, executing and monitoring projects along time, cost and quality including technical (engineering) and techno-commercial coordination with all stakeholders.
• Managing project start-up contracts / agreements, due diligence, formulation and negotiations in coordination with internal and external legal / commercial teams.
• Contract and Commercial Management for Traditional Remeasured, Traditional Lumpsum and Design & Build Contracts.
• Maintaining resource needs for projects, after considering budgetary parameters set and monitoring project status during the course of periodic review meetings.
• Executing day-to-day contracts / commercial administration thereby deploying review systems to manage execution as per effective techno-economic feasibility.
• Coordinating with External Agencies for techno-commercial negotiations, preparing tender / contract documents, cost estimates, including billing, variation / deviation proposals, claims, etc.
• Ensuring execution of various commercial activities within set time, quality, terms and conditions.
• Generating periodic status & cost reports for apprising management of project progress.
• Strict compliance to Ethical standards laid by the organization and Conflict of Interests policies.
• Drafting and managing efficiently contractual correspondences, notices, variations, estimates, new rates and claims.
• Ensuring contractual documentation of the measurements, payments and other contemporaneous records for supporting extension of time and loss of expense claims.
• Preparing and managing interim and final payments with due compliance laid down by the contract.
• Actively participating in dispute avoidance and dispute resolution process.
• Advising management and interested stakeholders on the procurement strategy, preparing risk report and assessing quantum of risk involved in the options proposed.
• Drafting of the subcontract agreement as per the adopted procurement route and ensuring its admiration while dealing with the subcontractors/supplier from appointment to final close out of commercial accounts.

Salary:
BHD 2,500 to 3,800 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Looking for a qualified Contracts & Quantity Surveying professional having extensive experience in Contracting and Consulting background.
• He / She must have experience in both pre and post contract administration.
• Should have depth knowledge, practical application skills and advising capacity for managing Engineering Contracts.
• Bachelors in Engineering
• RICS's Certificate in Quantity Surveying Management
• 10 - 15 Year in the same position
• Experience in Civil Construction Industry
