Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a foreign bank, which establish since 1967, with a network of 69 branches, are looking to hire a CRA (Customer Relations) for their branch in Bahrain.

Essential Functions:
- Review loans applications and check the credit files following the checklists obtaining customer and /or guarantor’s signature on all necessary documents.
- Coordinates with the Branch Manager for obtaining from the clients the necessary information and documentation required for the adequate preparation of the credit / loans files prior (as applicable).
- Responds to inquiries from Branch Manager- Retail Division - Foreign Entities Division.... for the purpose of facilitating communication and/or providing information and/or referral for addressing inquiry.
- Prepares the bank standard credit presentation and provides a quality credit analysis and submits an independent comment on the credit and financial standing of the borrowers (existing and new).

- Follow up on unpaid bills and Debtor customers.
- Opens accounts respecting the KYC rules and scan customers' specimen of signatures.
- Handles Credit cards, ATM cards and checks requests.
- Improve productivity in clerical function by implementation of correct work procedures and scheduling.
- Responsible to perform special tasks as assigned occasionally by the Branch Management.
- Checks marketing brochures for adequate supply on hand and remove ant that are out of data.

Requirements

- BA in business or equivalent
- One year experience in a similar field
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Familiar with MS office environment
- Ability to draw reports.
- Ability to demonstrate sufficient tact, self-control and persuasiveness to deal with involved discussions, explanations or agreements.
- Must demonstrate ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate within & outside the bank frequently with staff/clients encompassing significant diversity of background and to use negotiation skills to an extent to secure co-operation and build on-going relationship.
- Must have a comprehensive understanding of general banking requirements as well as the bank's policies and procedures.
