Job description / Role
- Managing, directing, planning and organizing all activities associated with the safe and efficient delivery of Airside operations at Bahrain International Airport.
- Manages, directs, plans, organizes and coordinates the day-to-day airside operations of the airport.
- Provides strategic direction to implement Airport operational standards and policies.
- Monitors and measures operational performance against the agreed KPIs.
- Develops customer’s focused operational polices concerning aircraft parking management, defines Airside peak hour and slot allocations.
- Enforces national regulations and international standards and recommended practices governing Airside use.
- Directs the publication and maintenance of the Aerodrome manual and ensures that the airside operations are consistent with national regulations.
- Align Airside stakeholders and acts as liaison between members of government agencies, air carriers, fixed base operators and the airport users.
- Provides leadership to the Airside Operations department, including training, planning, organizing, staffing, and directing Airside operations.
- Assists in the formulation of strategic plans for the airport and business development.
Requirements
- BSc Degree in Management, Aviation Science or equivalent
- 10+ years of Airport Management experience
- 5+ years at the level of an Airport Operations Director
- Good leadership and communication skills
