Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading financial services company. Our client is looking to hire a Group Manager of Operations to join their business in Manama.
You will liaise with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to develop, manage and execute operational plans within the specified geography based on strategic plans in order to achieve efficiency targets. Your key responsibilities will include spearheading special projects and ensuring that business continuity plans are in place. You will also work with the IT Head to ensure IT Infrastructure and performance are at required levels.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a Degree in business administration with a minimum of 7 years experience in managing multicultural, geographically dispersed operations, of which 5 years should have been in a managerial capacity. You should possess a strong background in operational efficiency, change management and process improvement. It is essential you have gained this experience in a financial services environment. Excellent English communication skills are crucial for this role.
