Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Designs, develops and maintains the recruitment process, including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular automated measurement reporting and proper actions to close gaps.
- Manages the full life-cycle recruiting efforts for Bank CLIENT Head Office and assists as required with recruitment for the other Units.
- Designs the selection matrix for selecting the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source and partners with Line Managers to determine and implement optimal sourcing strategies for their business, including leveraging various direct sourcing strategies where appropriate.
- Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the Bank.
- Promotes and conducts direct sourcing strategies through the full range of channels including (although not limited to): advertised search, networking, research, referrals, internal mobility, company website, on-line job boards and search engines.
- Explores market best practices in recruiting and staffing and implements appropriate best practices.
- Builds a quality relationship with internal customers and external recruitment agencies, head hunters and executive search firms.
- Negotiates fees with recruitment firms.
- Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process.
- Oversees the recruitment process aligned to the business groups on a day to day basis, ensuring the manpower requisition, job description, and approval processes are all in place.
- Reviews and shortlists resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
- Develops and maintains critical reporting for HR and the business groups, including overviews of volume, source, and fees as well as candidate/interview data tracking.
- Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates.
- Manages the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring Managers, including overseeing visas, travel and hotel reservations and expenses for candidates that have been identified.
- Recruits from junior to senior grade within CLIENT.
- Interviews candidates and works closely with the business on managing the candidates through the application process.
- Provides complete and accurate information to candidates to positively market the company and position.
- Collects and documents post-interview evaluation Forms.
- Prepares offer letters for successful candidates, ensuring salaries and benefits are in line with salary ranges and market data.
- Liaises with Government Relations staff to ensure Central Bank approval is gained for expatriate staff.
- Liaises with Government Relations staff to ensure work and residence visas are arranged and completed in a timely manner for expatriate staff and their family.
- Ensures that new staff are given assistance to make on-boarding as stress free as possible.
- Ensures that personnel files, including due diligence and reference checks, are carried out on schedule and reports on any discrepancies.
- Develop positive, on-going relationships with search firms as well as search firm contracting process for the business groups
- Provides advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation primarily for recruitment and more broadly as directed.
- Coordinates the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural problems and inquiries.
- Assists with a wide range of ad hoc projects as assigned by Head of HR.

Job Context
- Works closely with Head of the Unit and line managers to provide comprehensive HR recruitment services.
- Implements processes and procedures ensuring that HR practices are within CLIENT’s HR policies and procedures.
- Participates in the provision of hands-on focus in terms of delivering HR solutions to business andsupport units.
- Ensures that existing and new HR policies and procedures comply with Central Bank regulations and Bahrain Labour Law. The job holder proposes and recommends policies and procedures for the implementation of HR best practice.
- Ensures consistency and applies fair and equitable treatment and maintains strict confidentiality on HR issues.

Requirements

- Degree in relevant field and relevant qualifications in Human Resources
- Internal recruitment experience within the financial services sector
- In-house recruiting experience or search firm /contingent agency background preferably with responsibility for one or more front office product areas
- Strong MIS skills and social media experience
- Excellent communication skills and proven client relationship management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Dedicated team player, with positive 'can do' attitude, who is resilient in a constantly changing environment
- High energy level and passion with the ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work under pressure, prioritise appropriately, multitask effectively, meet deadlines and manage simultaneous demands
- High level organisation skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to develop relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and senior professionals internally and externally
