Employment: Full Time

Oversight of relationships and security of the contract. The Host Nation Liaison Manager ensures compliance with the Contract and is the prime point of interface with the Contract Service Delivery Manager to ensure barriers of business are minimized with regards to Host Nation interaction.Structure and reporting relationship.

Key accountabilities:
Conduct successful engagements with the UK Defense Force; strengthen coalition ties; support contingency operations; and assist in facilitating a positive Australian presence in the country.

Ensuring Serco and its subcontractors’ staff are appropriately cleared for access to AMAB and the ADF compound, as required; Manage the translation process for the UK Defense Force.

Act as the key liaison person to support and oversee the effective relationships between ADF, Bahrain Armed Forces, Serco and other Bahrain Government departments. Support the UK Defense Force with security functions that include equipment and services case management; training management; program monitoring; evaluation and planning of Bahrain military capabilities and requirements; administration; and promoting standardization between the UK and Bahrain Armed Forces on Al Minhad Airbase.

Have full knowledge and understanding of Bahrain Culture in order to support the UK Defence Force with regards to cultural matters within the Bahrain; Maintain strong relationships with UK Defence Force Senior Officers; Oversight and Management of the Contractor GHQ registration process; Management and Oversight of the Bahrain Armed Forces Contractor Base Access passes; Access Register; HSQE Responsibilities and Information Security Responsibilities

Requirements

• Ex Bahrain military with open communications with the Bahrain Security
• Ability to liaise within all levels of Bahrain Military GHQ.
• Bahrain National
• A minimum of five years’ experience in the Bahrain military or police forces;
• A minimum of 5 years management experience in a similar field;
• Essential qualifications
• Degree in Management of similar experience, Essential technical, professional skills, knowledge and essential experiences.
• Familiarity with the Bahrain base security processes and procedures;
• Knowledge and understanding of process and requirements for gaining base access for contractor staff and subcontractors.
• Proficient in spoken and written Arabic and English languages;
• Highly motivated and flexible to work in a time-sensitive environment to respond quickly and effectively to unanticipated high workloads, events and emergencies; and Ability to multi-task and analyse situations promptly and without bias so as to determine the proper course of action.
