Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Human Resources / Personnel
- Create and control policies relating to all phases of Human Resources activity
- Recruits, interviews, and selects / recommends employees to fill vacant positions
- Investigates personnel related and prepares reports
- Liaise with other divisional / departmental heads so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of their personnel needs, and to ensure they are fully informed of the department objectives, purposes and achievements
- Contribute to the evaluation and development of the department performance
- To manage the day-to-day activities, training and development of staff for effective level, maximizing individual staff potentials and coordination of performance appraisals.
- Helping the Management for making decisions that concern the day-to-day operations of the Group
- Manage and supervise the Payroll and its related supporting and reports
- Supervise and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, labor and employee relations
- Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures
- Suggest best practice and revise the personnel policies, employment contracts & work procedures to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters and recommend needed changes
- Represent the Company in all public and private authorities, and attend personnel-related hearings and investigations

Training / Development
- Designing and developing training programs based on both the organization’s and individual's needs
- Plan training budget and maximize the levy to its best
- Assess relevant training needs for staff individuals and organization, in consultation with departmental Heads, including assessment methods and measurement systems entailed
- Identify, select and manage external training and accreditation bodies
- Produce organizational strategy and plans to meet training and development needs, and manage training delivery, measurement and follow-up as necessary
- Organize training venues, logistics, transport, accommodation as required to achieve efficient training attendance and delivery
- Ensure all training activities and materials meet with relevant organizational and statutory policies
- Plan, develop and implement strategy for staff training and development, establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of staff training and development
- Liaise with other functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of staff training and development, and to ensure they are fully informed of staff training and development objectives, purposes and achievements
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of contemporary staff training and development theory and methods and provide suitable interpretation to directors, managers and staff within the organization

Requirements

- Min 5 - 7 years of experience
- Graduate in a relevant field
- Post graduation degree preferred
- Bahraini National
- Specialized in Human Resources/Personnel & Training & Development

Working Days: Saturday – Wednesday (Thursday is half day)
Working hours: 7:00 – 3:45 (Thursday 7:00 – 12:30)
