Job description / Role
We are looking for Investment Consultants to develop a portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) individuals, thereby growing net assets and revenues for the department. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in identifying and developing HNW relationships. Experience in Wealth Relationship Management and Financial Planning. Candidates should be educated to a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Financial related subject. An industry recognized professional qualification in Wealth Management or Financial Planning is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify new opportunities and prospect suitable HNW individuals. .
- Complete client reviews identifying key objectives and the attitude to risk of the client.
- Create investment portfolios that match the requirements of the client.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to these individuals.
- Provide the highest levels of customer service.
- Ensure existing clients are met on a regular basis and referrals obtained.
- Meet and exceed specific quarterly & annual targets.
- Promotes and cross-sells the products and services of other distribution lines.
- Expected to contribute to the development of tools, processes and strategies employed by the department.
- Adhere to the highest levels of ethical behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Financial related subject
- An industry recognised professional qualification in Wealth Management or Financial Planning.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in identifying and developing HNW relationships.
- Experience in Wealth Relationship Management and Financial Planning.
- Motivated self starter with an ability to proactively generate new opportunities.
- Methodical, organised and able to work independently.
- Able to perform under a start-up business model, adapting easily to change and comfortable working under pressure.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with experience of presenting to HNW individuals.
- Exceptional presentation preparation and reporting skills.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
Additional:
- An extensive network of HNW clients is a necessity.
- You will be expected to present a realistic business plan based on your current book of clients.
- Regional travel will be required as additional countries come on line.
