Company:
Our client is the leading producer of locally grown farm-fresh food in Kingdom of Bahrain.

They are currently looking for an IT Specialist to be based in Bahrain.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
• Plan and implement new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
• Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
• Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Computer Science/ B.Sc. in Business Information System/ B.Sc. in Computer Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in the same role
• Relevant Certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields
• Experience in networking domain protocols and business applications and general knowledge in servers Hardware and Software, scripting and automation tools
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong knowledge in Microsoft office
• A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans
