Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for the preparation of Leasing Strategy for and Leasing Strategy/Merchandise Mix, with recommendations on rental levels
- Proactively approach companies and organisations in other office and retail locations about moving to the facility.
- Report on changes to the market, competitor analysis, new retail operators and amend the Leasing Strategy as required.
- Responsible for meeting potential new tenants interested in vacant spaces in towers & Mall and negotiation of terms based on the approved Leasing Strategy
- Completion of Heads of Terms with potential tenants
- Finalising and completing the Lease Agreement in coordination with the relevant departments within a very minimal time frame.
- Preparation of occupancy/vacancy reports on a weekly and monthly basis for the client to ensure the effectiveness of the leasing activities.
- Associate with relevant departments in preparation and finalisation of the yearly revenue budget as part of the overall expenses/revenue yearly budget for the client.
- Identify and recommend to the management as well as the client any attractive and profitable leasing or development opportunities.
- Responsible for scheduling all maintenance and repairs with vendors, thereby ensuring the property is being maintained.
- Report on changes to the market, competitor analysis, new retail operators and amend the Leasing Strategy as required.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Property Management.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience of in sales or property management
- High degree of human relations skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong organization and integration skills
- Required to be computer literate
