Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a leading money transfer and foreign exchange company based in the GCC. They have been in continues operation since the 1920’s. They are looking to recruit a Manager Global Ezremit.

Business Development:
- Drive transaction growth and implement an effective transaction margin management strategy across the send agent network.
- Working with the Head of Sales in Bahrain and Kuwait (or any other operating company) along with the Head of Marketing in identifying new sales agents’ e.g. financial institutions, exchange house, banks, etc.
- Ensure the developed sales and marketing initiatives and promotions are implemented to support agent performance and raise awareness of the brand, product and services within the markets.

Budgets and Planning:
- Prepare comprehensive annual plans for the agents and marketing activities including budgets that breakdown cost centers for the department head’s review.
- Present the annual plans to the Management Committee for approval\

Leadership:
- Oversee a team of professionals in the day to day business activity within their territory, and ensuring the required level of sales, marketing and operational & customer service excellence is achieved.
- The Manager Global EzRemit will provide leadership to the staff and be able to act as a deputy of the department head.
- The role will coordinate with the broader Management Team to ensure the required guidance and support is obtained in the key areas of Finance, IT Support & Development and Legal and regulatory compliance.

People Management:
- Work with the Management Team to ensure that all staff involved in Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service are motivated and delivered the required results.
- Monitor the performance of staff and ensure that training and development needs are identified, planned and carried out to ensure that they continually develop and achieve their full potential.
- Manage relationships with key distribution partners either internal or external. Maintain excellent relationships with all Departments or functions to ensure that all improvement opportunities are identified and implemented in an efficient and effective manner.

Requirements

- University Education in a business related degree.
- At least 10 – 15 years’ work experience, 5 years in managing a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed operations.
- Experience working in Financial services sector – especially in the B2C environment.
- Experience working in different regulatory environments.
- Experience working in leadership roles within the Foreign Exchange / Remittance industry.
- Experience in strategic leadership of the following areas: Sales, Marketing, & Business Development.
- Experience in leading multi-cultural and multi-ethnicity teams across different geographies.
- Proven ability to build high-performing, high-morale, self-managing teams that function well in complex environments.
