Employment: Full Time

Our client is an investment firm and one of the largest diversified holding companies in the MENA region. They are currently looking for a Marketing Operational Manager

Responsibilities

Strategical & Tactical
- Support the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer regarding all ‘Operational Marketing activities’.
- Support the development, implementation and delivery of the ‘Marketing & Communications
- Tactical Plan’ to be worked out by the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer.
- Support the development of the Marketing Budget, and implementation.
- Ensure all Marketing activities support directly Distribution generating business, as required by the Chief Commercial Officer and the Distribution Support Manager.

Operational
- Create an ‘Operational Plan’, showing clear deliverables and KPIs, based on the below activities (and any additional ones) as in the appendix, that will cover marketing requirements and action points needed to support the Distribution Channels’ and Country Expansion Plans.
- Be the technical / execution interface between the Marketing team and the Distribution Channel
- Managers, the Country Managers, and other support function (in particular the Operations team).
- Plan and execute a campaign calendar (outbound events) and marketing activities (including but not limited to newsletters, seminars, gala receptions, onsite marketing, and other PR events) covering each Distribution Channel and Country.
- Plan and execute a Media Planning covering Press – TV – Radio as per the agreed KPIs.

People Management
- Identify candidates for the positions to be staffed and participate/conduct the whole or part of the recruitment process, in coordination with the HR department
- Participate and/or conduct regular performance reviews, based on each individual’s KPIs.
- Assess the training needs of the team and coordinate with the HR Department to arrange training as per the development plans resulting from the individual performance reviews.
- Ensure back up plans are in place for each employee.
- Ensure continuous self-development to keep up to date with the knowledge needed for effective performance.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Media or Business.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in a similar role in a financial services business.
- Candidates need to be used to working with sales targets and reporting on how their campaigns have generated leads and led to sales
- Focused on achieving targets and delivering concrete, meaningful, operational marketing support to distribution channels.
- Experience in an ad agency would be a great advantage.
- Bilingual English and Arabic working knowledge would be a great plus.
