Job description / Role
- Manage and supervise project execution of all types of road surfacing works which include, asphalt laying, road & kerb formations, cutting & milling of existing roads.
- Coordinate and manage all civil teams and asphalt teams being deployed to different sites across Bahrain on a daily basis.
- Monitor and deploy sufficient plant and equipment needed for each site.
- Prepare weekly schedules of work to be followed on site.
- Assisting in preparation of valuations to be submitted to client for payment.
- Assisting in preparation of Variation Orders/Change Orders.
- Conduct daily coordination meetings with all site engineers and supervisors for smooth execution of works.
- Ensure high quality asphalt laying and timely execution.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in civil engineering and specifically road surfacing works.
- Holder of an accredited university degree.
- Understanding of asphalting plant and equipment.
- Have an understanding of the asphalt design mix and being able to liaise with authorities to gain approval.
