Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Deliver knowledge and skills of the assigned subjects utilizing the course of study prescribed by the AHIS approved curriculum.
• Develop differentiated weekly lesson plans.
• Use flexible grouping and differentiation methods. Identify student needs and cooperates with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve health, attitude and learning problems.
• Integrate technology.
• Use behavior management strategies.
• Evaluate each student\'s performance and prepare progress reports.
• Use a variety of assessment (alternative and formal).
• Check and correct student notebooks, books, and assignments on a daily basis. Test grades must be shared with students in 48 hours from test taking date.
• Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
• Participate in the life of the school outside of the classroom (attending sporting events, leading a club, school newspaper, scouts, computer club, yearbook, occasions and events etc).
• Initiate extra-curricular club during the academic year and be actively involved in school life during or after school hours and weekends.
• Attend Professional Development sessions and faculty meetings.
• Participate in faculty and/or school committees of Al Hekma accreditation such as QNSA,QQA, MSA, NCA or any future new accreditation.

Requirements

• Hold Bachelor degree in Physics
• Teaching Diploma or certificate
• Be fluent in English
• Be able to use smart boards and technology
• Be familiar with differentiation methods to be applied in the classroom
