Job description / Role
- Liaising with clients and reporting progress, professional staff (such as architects and surveyors) and the public
- Supervising contracted staff
- Coordinating and meeting subcontractors
- Ensuring sites pass all safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
- Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
- Maintaining quality control procedures
- Motivating the workforce
- Using specialist project management computer applications such as MS Project etc
Requirements
Candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree from a reputable university with a minimum of 10 years experience on construction projects.
The candidate ideally would have more buildings experience, particularly housing jobs.
The candidate should be able to manage a project and the full team underneath him to deliver the project on time successfully.
