Company
Our client is distinguished by its unique design, quality diamonds, and their high-end jewelry. They are currently looking for a Quality Controller to be based in Bahrain.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Visually inspecting all jewelry to ensure they meet specifications and established standards
• Collect and input quality information, including data entry and photo documentation
• Communicate quality concerns and product information in a constructive and positive manner with QC Coordinator, Jewelers, Work Planner, Trainers and Merchandisers
• Documenting inspection results and entering gemological data onto the company database
• Maintain tracking databases of all incoming and outgoing purchase orders
• Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading technical publications, attending seminars, watching industry videos, etc
• Accomplish organization mission by completing related results as needed

Requirements

Qualification & Requirements:
• Knowledge of gold, silver, diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones, and jewelry manufacturing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Problem-solving skills showing initiative and follow-through
• High standard of workmanship with experience in gold, platinum, and precious metals
• Ability to check the quality of jewelry and obtain data from advanced gemological equipment
• Provide support to the team and department supervisor
