Senior Design Engineer

Job description / Role

- Work independently to produce designs and specifications as part of a project team working on water/wastewater engineering projects.
- Provide support to other project teams on more complex projects.
- Direction of staff to finalise projects and assisting in the preparation of bids for clients.
- Development of time and cost schedules for projects, required for bids for preliminary design, engineering design and detailed design of projects.
- Work may include field data collection, data reduction, alternatives analyses and support on preparation of reports and design documents Support site supervision during construction stage

Requirements

- BS degree in Civil engineering
- Minimum 5-10 years experience in design of utility services to include water, wastewater experience on infrastructure projects is essential.
- Experience in the design of water, wastewater, solid waste, drainage and environmental impact assessments.
- Ability to carry out instructions methodically.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills in English (oral & written)
