Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Manage existing customers and to ensure that they are given the best commercial & technical support, and have full understanding of the products both existing and new.
- Look out for new customers that fit the company’s strategy for development and growth.
- Visit the markets on regular bases to keep in touch with our customers but also to get a feel for developments, trends, and leads on what is happening.
- Make sure that our strategy and plans for the markets are achievable and inline with the realities of the market conditions.
- Report on competition, key market information.
- Identify the top Architects, Consultants, and Developers in each market and develop contact with them with aim that they approve our systems and products to be used
- Manage and conduct the sales as per the company’s business plan with allocated customer base in line with set targets, objectives and authority limits.
- Forecast demand in terms of product, volume and quantities on a monthly basis and report them to the line manager.
- Coordinate with the accounts department to ensure that debit/credit limits of our customers are well within our limits.
- Produce monthly reports showing the performance of the sales, against the set targets with summaries of major news and market conditions.
- Visit reports covering visits to markets and customers for information and follow-up.
- Projects follow-up with manager and to have up-to-date list covering major projects in the market and those our customers have quoted for.
- Any other tasks and assignments that are requested as a part of the Sales & Marketing function.

Requirements

- An Engineering degree, preferably in: Mechanical, Civil, and Architectural or an MBA.
- Computer literate and fluent in basic software such as Microsoft Office. Knowledge of other technical software such as AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Commercial construction is preferred.
- Ability to meet deadlines and achieve set targets.
- Pleasant personality with mature demeanor.
- Well groomed with a neat appearance.
- Good inter-personal and communication skills.
- Team player with a go-getting attitude.
- A person with initiative, and drive.
- Fluency in English (Both written and oral). Knowledge of Arabic and/or French a plus
