Store Manager - Bahrain - Toy Industry up to 800BD

You will be joining a strong and well established team of like-minded individuals. We are currently looking for a store Manager for the Bahrain business. We need a strong leader who can elevate a team, address sales issues and ensure the international brand standards are met at all times.

As a store manager we are looking for someone who will take care of the following responsibilities:
- Monitor daily sales against the business plan
- Motivate the team to reach the business plan
- Place regular stock and supply orders with the Dubai head office
- Manage all deliveries – ensure any discrepancies are reported and stock is adjusted
- Ensure all products are correctly priced
- Re-price stock for sale periods
- Compile store orders for stock based on projected sales
- Assist with recruitment of junior staff – screening CVs and conducting phase 1 interviews
- Manage all weekly scheduling of staff – ensure business needs are met as well as balance Overtime etc.
- Conduct regular staff appraisals, create Personal Development Plans
- Help drive and build the party business by contacting schools and corporate companies
- Liaise with mall management on an ad hoc basis to ensure solid relationships are maintained.
- Train retail staff in the shop on general brand sales processes, product knowledge as well as general retail techniques.
- Ensure the back of house is managed accurately, organizing stock, marketing supplies, store administration
- Handle all day to day store general administration paperwork, daily sales logs, banking, opening and closing procedures.
- Create a warm and friendly atmosphere where customer are made to feel welcome
- Actively sell and interact with customers – as a manager you do not sit back and watch. You are very much an active part of the team.
- Become the leader of floor leadership and drive the team to achieve the goals.
- As a store without head office in the same country, manage relationship with local PRO and 3rd party logistics, store maintenance and any other issues.
- Work with mall management and update Area Manager of any new events that can support or impact the brand.
- Identify and lead the business development for school party business and any external events
- Ensure all daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting is done on time and correctly with intelligent content
- Screen and identify potential talent for the store including junior and mid-level positions.

Requirements

In order to be considered for this role you must have been a store manager for at least 2 years and KPI driven. You need to demonstrate how you have motivated a team and how you manage a team on a day-to-day basis. You must have experience in all of the above areas and can demonstrate your hands-on skills. This is not an office based role.

You will be on the sales floor selling, training and leading the team. You must have excellent communication skills in English and knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage. Excellent computer skills in excel and MS office.

You need to be very organized, highly multi tasked, work well under pressure and able to lead by example and detail orientated. We need someone who will be happy to sing happy birthday to a party or lead a school group through an amazing experience as well as all of the behind the scenes reporting, receiving deliveries and cleaning the store.

All candidates must be based in either UAE, Kuwait or Bahrain and willing to relocate to Bahrain.
