Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a representative group for an international group. Retail is the group's core focus area and it deals mainly with apparel, furniture, footwear, consumer electronics, cosmetics & beauty products, home improvement and baby products.

They are currently looking for Store Managers for their stores in Bahrain.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- To act as an ambassador for the company, effectively managing the day-to-day operation of the store and its sales team
- Responsible for the overall success driving sales, reinforcing operations, and staff development, as well as overall service and brand integrity for the store
- Managing the P&L to achieve company sales, service goals & overall financial targets
- Be a role model for strong product knowledge of the store product line, as well as selling and customer service standards
- To manage the day to day operational and staffing requirements of the store including rota, security, finance, personnel & maintenance issues
- Continually monitor store processes and procedures to ensure best practice standards are in place
- Manage, supervise and coach staff in recruiting, hiring and training of store Sales Associates.
- To ensure the highest level of customer service is given and measured against set objectives
- Maintain daily financial recaps and communicate and educate store management.
- Full stock and stock take accountability, maintaining optimal stock levels in core and campaign bestselling lines
- Full administrative responsibility for store reporting
- Management of store housekeeping and Visual Merchandising in line with company guidelines
- Management & maintenance of key internal & external relationships to drive the success of the store
- Drive membership of gift cards & manage data entry requirements

Requirements

- Graduate.
- Advanced
- Post-graduate degree in Retail Management, Business Administration and/or specialization in Marketing
- Minimum 3-5 years experince
- Minimum 2 years in retail store management role, in medium to large operations.
