Job description / Role
A leading marine service provider now require Naval Architects for East and West Canada.
- Analyze and develop reports for vessel stability for various bulk, break-bulk, liquid and project cargo;
- Develop load plans as required;
- Analyze and develop lashing plans in accordance with accepted warranty surveyor parameters;
- Prepare drawings and complete engineering calculations as required by T/C or Class;
- Assist in condition surveys of various fleet vessels;
- Assist in the development of specifications related to hull repairs to maintain structural integrity of the fleet;
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Computer technology software including AutoCAD
- Excellent skills in design, analytical, problem solving abilities, reasoning, and mathematics.
- Naval Architecture Degree, Diploma
