Kaizen Institute (KI) was founded in Switzerland 13 June 1985 by Masaaki Imai, pioneering the original KAIZEN™ consulting firm, specialized in continuous improvement and achieving enterprise wide business excellence. We have been celebrating our 30th year anniversary during 2015 for our humble yet rich history. One of our four brand promises, being ‘Authentic’, reflects such a long history with KI being the pioneer in the continuous improvement consultancy sector. In the 1990’s KI was able to expand into other, non-manufacturing sectors, while also entering into the Asian markets by the turn of the century. In late 2003, KI’s Global Operations was launched and has since been the foundation of KI’s global growth and the expansion of KI’s world-wide footprint, now covering nearly 40 countries with over 50 KI companies.
