National Drilling Company was formed in May 1972 under the authority of his Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan to embark on drilling wells in the Emirates. The Fleet began with 2 onshore rigs and after 2 years one offshore rig was added. The fleet has now expanded to 15 onshore, 9 offshore and 6 water well rigs, all equipped with state of the art technology.
National Drilling Company is one of the largest drilling contractors in the Middle East. National Drilling Company is a 100% subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
