Lead Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to work within our projects team, your main duties will include:
- Monitor Delivery Team progress to ensure project schedules are met.
- Provide assistance in technically challenging troubleshooting and delivery processes to overcome obstacles that can negatively affect schedule.
- Will oversee design, implementation, and testing phases of the project and review.
- Create regular reports for Technical Manager on progress and potential obstacles to meeting project schedules.
- Create project documents, plans and drawings.
- Responsibility of configuring and testing of instruments and systems at different project stages.

Requirements

- Bachelor degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Mechatronics or Mechanical or equivalent.
- 8-10 years experience in Instrumentation & Control or Automation Projects.
- Experience with Major Saudi Oil / Petrochemical companies standards and specifications for Instrumentation & Control Systems/Automation, preference given to individuals who have executed Control System/Automation projects.
- Experience / Familiarity with VMS (Vibration Monitoring Systems)/Condition Monitoring Systems or DCS.
- Thorough knowledge of International Standards relevant to Control Systems and Automation.
- Pro-active approach, quick learning and attention to details.
- Team leading experience for project execution.
- Excellent leadership and team working abilities with ability to work across functions and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage resources and capabilities within a matrix organization to achieve project targets.
- Experience with Quality & EHS standards.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project.
- Willing to travel to site during project commissioning and when required.
