Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes
- Conduct a daily reconciliation of cashiers accounts
- Conduct periodic reconciliations & allocation of all business accounts to ensure their accuracy
- Process the payment of petty expenses and customer refunds
- Receive complete files from sales, verify the documents are as per checklist and send them to banks for payments
- Participate in periodic inventory /stock counts and present the report
- Assemble information for internal & external auditors
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Performs other duties as assigned from time to time by Supervisors/Chief Accountant

Requirements

- Minimum quilifation Diploma in Accounting (Accounting Graduate will be preferred)
- Two to three years responsible accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, general ledger and financial reports.
- Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
- Ability to operate calculator, computer, and other general office equipment.
- Knowledge of computerized accounting software (Kerridge knowledge will be preferred)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
