Insurance Risk Engineering Consultant

Based in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you will be working for a fully integrated global petroleum and chemicals enterprise and a world leader in Exploration, Production and Refining.

Working for the Risk Management Division, part of Treasury, this role provides cross function support to the company through identification, quantification and mitigation of risks and to reduce the cost of insured and uninsured loss to the company, its subsidiaries and affiliates. As the Insurance Risk Engineer, you will be involved in all aspects of company technical activities and will have specific responsibility for leading the ongoing risk engineering survey program of the company’s key production assets and associated activities. You will also lead the divisions response to major casualty or loss.

Requirements

You will have significant engineering experience from within the Oil, Gas or petrochemicals industry, in addition to insurance and risk management expertise from a risk engineering or control function of an international blue-chip insurance company/broker.

You will have a professional chemical / mechanical engineering degree AND professional accreditation (CEng or IEng). You will also hold a professional insurance/risk management qualification (ACII, MIRM,SIRM or CPCU) with 10 years industry experience with at least 5 years risk control or risk engineering.
