Job description / Role
Our client are one the leading project management consultancies in Qatar that formed over 5 years ago to provide the leading real estate developers a full array of PMC services on projects both regionally and internationally. These projects are within the commercial, residential, rail, mixed use and retail sectors. All of high value and complexity, our client provide Design, Cost, HSE, QAQC, Planning and Environmental services on behalf of the client.
We are currently seeking to recruit for their Doha/Qatar office an Architect. The initial projects will be on the multi billion dollar Qatar Rail – Metro schemes.
Our client are engaged are the client representative on projects and your duties will include:
- Responsible for ensuring sufficient overall level of technical resources.
- Alerting the Project Manager to design technical issues.
- Responsible for monitoring response to all Discipline Design Team technical queries and requests for information.
- Maintain regular contacts with clients and authorities. Assisting the Project -Manager with preparation of progress reports.
- Checking project deliverable including reports, specifications and studies in relation to the assigned work on the project.
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture or Engineering
- 10 years post graduation experience
- GCC or International experience
- Worked on large scale Building or Rail Projects
- Currently working as an Architect - Senior Architect - Technical Manager or Design Manager
