We are now seeking an exceptional Assistant Project Manager to join our award winning team based within our Qatar Office.

This critical role will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the day to day operational and tactical aspects of the projects, including such aspects as the establishment of the project delivery strategy, planning, administration, schedule and cost control and design reviews for completeness and constructability.

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;
• Reporting to and advising senior management and client as required on all elements and facets of managing the design and construction process.
• Corresponding with consultants, contractors and authorities.
• Maintain sound management processes and document control procedures; oversee quality assurance & file management.
• Monitor, review and manage the performance of all consultants and contractors providing services to the client using contract deliverables, schedules and budgets.
• Attend or chair meetings and / or workshops with consultants and contractors, prepare meeting minutes and follow up to achieve identified actions.
• Assess and monitor risk and contractual exposure for the client and KEO.
• Evaluate and recommend contract Variation Orders, payments certificates and invoices for client approval.
• Review and report on Cost Estimates, design submissions, technical reports.
• Support the Project manager to ensure the delivery of the contracted PM services to the client.

Requirements

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 5 years career experience partnered with a Bachelor Degree in Enginneering, Architecture or Project Management.

Chartered status with Professional Membership of Construction Management society or other recognized body will be viewed favourably.
