Halian International, a global IT services business, is currently seeking 2 x Broadcast Project Engineer with a comprehensive working knowledge in the broadcasting industry.
Based out of Doha, Qatar, this will be a fixed term one year contract working for one of the world's leading entertainment corporations on a pioneering project in the Middle East. There will be a small amount of travel with this role, occasionally to Dubai for performance reviews and meetings.
As Broadcast Project Engineer, you will be working with our client to help install, but also manage the installation of high quality Broadcast systems that meet the agreed international standards.
As Project Engineer you will be accountable for the successful delivery of the assigned projects and ensuring that any risks or issues are resolved in a timely manner. Also, it will be your responsibility to manage the day to day issues of the broadcast implementations and present results daily to the Project Lead.
Requirements
To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, we are seeking a Broadcast Project Engineer that has a MINIMUM of 6 years engineering experience of installing Broadcast systems.
Must also have the following skills:
- Knowledge of modern TV facilities workflows, ie Studio, Editing systems, Ingest, MAM, PAM, TX etc.
- Excellent knowledge of SD/HD technology and good understanding of international standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally, possessing good writing and documentation skills
- Willingness to potentially work irregular hours to ensure project delivery objectives
